Four Fall Cocktails

Spirits, goblins, and ghouls…oh my! October has arrived which means it’s time to break out those Halloween decorations, cozy sweaters, and all of the pumpkins you can find!

One of the best ways to celebrate the spirit of fall is to visit one of the many agritourism options available this month! From pumpkin patches and apple orchards to corn mazes and dairy farm tours, Indiana’s farmers are ready to welcome you and your family and show you a little about life on the farm.  Indy with Kids has put together a list of some of their favorite Pumpkin Patches and Corn Mazes in central Indiana. Get out, enjoy the beautiful fall weather, have some fun with the whole family, and learn a little bit about Hoosier farms while you’re at it!

Speaking of spirits, there isn’t much better than enjoying a delicious fall-inspired cocktail while you spend a cool autumn evening with family and friends. We’ve asked a few of our favorite bloggers to share some of their favorite Fall Cocktail Recipes, and they sure did get into the “spirit” of things

Apple Pie with Real Apples from The Farmwife Drinks

Hot Cider Wassail from The Farmwife Cooks

Maple Old-Fashioned from The Crossroads Cook
