Back to School Recipes

It’s the start of August, and you know what that means! Back-to-School time is here! We’ve gathered some easy, family-friendly recipes that are perfect for the coming school year.

That time of year is upon us again. Time to gather school supplies, zip up those backpacks, plan that perfect first day outfit, pack some lunches, and make it to the bus stop on time. Then there is the bus ride home, after school activities, homework, and trying to somehow figure out an easy and nutritious dinner that the whole family will love. Whew! We’re tired just thinking about it!

Speaking of school buses, did you know that some school districts are now using a soy biodiesel blend in their buses? What is biodiesel? It is a clean-burning alternative fuel produced from domestic, renewable resources, such as soybeans. Soy biodiesel can be used in existing, unmodified diesel engines. More people are choosing biodiesel because it’s safer and more environmentally-friendly than petroleum diesel. Another advantage of choosing biodiesel is it’s made in the U.S., which helps reduce dependency on foreign oil. Want to know more? Visit the Indiana Soybean Alliance website.

If you’re anything like us, any tip or tick you can find to help make your life easier during this crazy busy time of year is a great thing. We’re happy to say that you’re in luck, because we’ve asked some of our favorite bloggers to put their heads together and created some awesome back-to-school inspired recipes that will make packing a lunch or getting dinner together quick, easy, and delicious!
