Livestock farmers go the extra mile to care for their animals year-round, but in the winter these efforts definitely increase. The tough weather conditions mean that farmers need to make sure their animals are receive extra energy in their feed, that their water isn’t frozen over, and that they’ve got plenty of shelter to protect them.
