Recipes for the Big Game!

The end of January is almost here, and of course that means it’s time for the Big Game! Here are some delicious and easy party snack ideas!

Winter in Indiana has settled in a made itself right at home, hasn’t it?  The temperatures have dropped, the cold winds have been blowing, and we’ve even seen a little snow! The weather may be colder, but that doesn’t mean that life has slowed down at all! There are kids to run back and forth, work functions to attend, and of course the end of football season to pay attention to!

Though it may seem like this time of year is a quiet one for farmers, the reality is that they are just as busy as ever, much like the rest of us! Livestock farmers go the extra mile to care for their animals year-round, but in the winter these efforts definitely increase. The tough weather conditions mean that farmers need to make sure their animals are receive extra energy in their feed, that their water isn’t frozen over, and that they’ve got plenty of shelter to protect them.
